August Make Up Favourites!

 Hey Beauties!

Its been a very long time, I know! Apologies for being MIA on the blog, I did lose my blogging mojo but its slowly coming back now 😀

Just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to everyone that still came to visit the blog while I was gone.

I really really appreciate it, much love to you all!

Today I am here to share my absolute FAVES of the past month or so. I’ve been doing the same make up look almost everyday with these products, I’m obsessed!

A little preview of a few of my make up essentials! Little pouch I bought from H&M a little while ago, this goes everywhere with me. Its mainly filled with lip products though.

(Some products in this picture have not been mentioned in the post, if you have any questions you are welcome to leave them in the comments below).

Estee Lauder Double Wear | Spiced Sand & Double Wear Concealer | 09 Medium Warm

This foundation gives me life! I rave about this to absolutely anyone that will talk make up with me. I have gotten so many compliments on my skin because of how good this is. It stays in place all day and still looks fresh after a long day. I recommend using a buffing brush to blend it in flawlessly.

If you like a bright under eye concealer this one is for you. Paired with the Double Wear foundation it is ah-mazing! I love how radiant it is under the eyes, its not to light (in colour) but still looks bright. I like to blend concealer in with a beauty blender which reduces the amount of creasing for me. Set with a finishing powder so it doesn’t crease throughout the day.

Kiko Bronzer Powder | Shade 103 Terracota

Since coming back from my holiday (way back in may) I have been desperately trying to keep the bronzed/sun kissed look going on. This bronzer is the perfect shade, not too orangey for all over bronzing. I use it around the hair line and lightly under my cheek bones (or what should be cheek bones lol) and the chin/neck area.

Kiko Highlighter | 02 Beam of Light

If your a highlighter lover you NEED this in your make up bag! It is an amazing shade of GLOW (pinky/champagne) that every girl needs in their life. It is so pigmented and looks amazing on! All I can say is you. need. this… NOW! I have converted a few of my girls already and they have also been amazed.

Topshop Glow Stick

This is an old gem that I fell in love with again! I use this before I use a powder highlight. It gives you an extra oomph in the glow department. I think they have discontinued this shade and sadly the name of it has rubbed off so I couldn’t even tell you what its called 😦 .. BUT Kiko do a very similar shade here. Using this on its own gives you more of a fresh dewy look which I also love when I don’t have much time to get ready.

L – Kiko Lip Liner | Mauve 504 & R – Kiko Lip Gloss Pencil | Natural Pink 08

Kiko is my make up heaven! I never leave without a new lip pencil or lipstick. Everything in there is so affordable and amazing in quality. These are my currant favourite nudes alone and together. Cannot get enough of the nude lip this season. If you haven’t tried any of the lip products you need to do so ASAP! You will not regret it I tell you.

Hope you enjoyed this post and found something new to try out! I would love to see what you’ve been loving in the month of August. Please leave your links down below for me to have a little snoop and perhaps add to my never ending wish list

Until next time lovelies!

1. Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation | £29.50

I have a small sample size of this and I absolutely love it! I cannot wait to get my hands on a full size.

2. Tom Ford Lipstick | £26

The packaging is just everything! Such a luxurious product I think everyone needs something from Tom Ford.

3. Estee Lauder Double Wear Concealer | £21.50

After trying out the foundation I have high hopes for the concealer. I have heard a few good reviews so we will have to wait and see.

4. Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick | £23

Another brand we all need a little something from. The colour range is amazing, this classic red is a must have!

5. Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze and Glow Palette | £49

I have heard some great reviews on this palette too. I am in need of a good high lighter too.

Boots Haul!

Hello lovelies,
I’m back with a quick Haul for you :)
Whenever I go into Boots I always get sucked into there 3 for 2 deals. Its like the shelves are glowing with products singing “buy me buy me”. Here are some make up and hair bits I picked up recently.

(Starting from the top left Sleek Blusher in Rose Gold, Revlon Shimmer brick in Rose Glow, Erase concealer, Argon Oil by Organix and Argan Oil Hair mask by Lee Stafford. Centre going down is Thick and Fast mascara by Soap and Glory, Matte me lipstick by Sleek, Brow Wizz by Anastasia Beverly Hills and Dip brow by Anastasia Beverly Hills.)

So here are the goodies I picked up recently. Lets start off in order as listed above.

Sleek | Rose gold blusher (£4.49) – Everyone raves about this as a dupe for Nars’ Orgasm blush so I wanted to try it out too. It is a beautiful peachy toned blush with flecks of gold running through. I love Sleek blushers and tend to gravitate towards the peachy tones so this was a perfect pick.

Revlon | Rose glow highlighter (£8.99) – With summer fast approaching everyone wants that nice glow and bronzed skin look. Revlon have come out with these shimmer and bronzer bricks. I picked up the highlighter as the bronzer was sold out at the time. My love for highlighters has just begun! This shimmer brick looks gorgeous on the skin. You can use the colours individually or all at once with a swipe of a brush.

Maybelline | Nude Eraser eye concealer (£7.99)   – I have heard a lot about this concealer and how it conceals dark circles completely. So far it has been lovely to apply, it has a nice creamy consistency and it is the perfect shade for me. I don’t think this covers dark circles completely but it does a good job. I am still testing it out in different ways so stay tuned for a full review at a later date!

Organix | Argan Oil (£4.99) – I have tried a few hair oils and nothing so far compares to my favourite Argan Oil by Moroccan Oil! (Purchase from here). The Organix Argan Oil is pretty nice on my hair. It leaves it soft unlike the other ones I have tried. We’ll have to see if I end up repurchasing this or not.

Lee Stafford | Argan oil mask (£14.99)  – Honestly, it was the hot pink packaging that made me pick this up! Of course I had to take it home as it has my favourite argan oil in it too. I have only used it once so far and it made my hair feel so silky smooth. It smells amazing too!

Soap and Glory | Thick and fast (£10.50) – This was a random purchase. I was in need a new mascara and just picked this up as the packaging claimed to give thick and longer lashes. Such a disappointment this was. I only used it once but it was enough to put me off. ☹

Sleek | Party Pink Matte me lipstick (£4.99) – I seriously love Matte lip colours, 95% of my lipstick collection is matte! This is the perfect summer lipstick so I cannot wait to wear this out. It goes on like a gloss and dries completely matte.

Finally the last two I purchased when I was away in Europe. I was sooo happy to find the Anastasia Beverly hills brand there.

Anastasia Beverley hills | Brow Wiz (£15.50)  – This is definitely my HOLY GRAIL eyebrow pencil. As I have such sparse brows I need a pencil that is light and as close to my hair colour as possible. This is the perfect natural shade on my brows. There is quite a wide range of colours for everyone to choose from. They seriously need to bring Anastasia products into London stores ASAP.

Anastasia Beverley hills | Dip brow pomade (£15) – This product has got beauty bloggers going crazy. With a load of mixed reviews, I had to try this out myself. I was hesitant to order this online as I didn’t know which colour to choose, so when I saw this I was excited to purchase it finally. I have used it a few times now and I can’t decide whether I love it or hate it. It isn’t easy to apply when you have brows as sparse as mine. You also have to be carful not to build it up too much or you will have two brown blocks above your eyes! I really want to love this product as it has great staying power and it is waterproof apparently! If you have good brows to start with I think you will love this product. For me, I’m still undecided.

That is all for my boots haul!

I have linked everything up if you would like to purchase any of these products.

Some items are not on the boots website for some reason but you can definitely find them in boots too.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Leave me some feedback on what you would like to see in the future.
Thank you for reading my lovelies.

Love Bee x
